Apache Vinyls I have the Apache vinyl replacements for sale. These are the logo's on the side of the boxes. The outline lettering is for the 1978 makes and the solid colored lettering is for the 1980 thru 1986 makes. I am unsure of the 1979 logo and if anyone could help me out I would be glad to do them also. I can also do the stripping associated with these makes and the model name. In a perfect world I would like to apply these vinyls for everyone but seeing that I can not I will include instructions on how to apply (it really isn't all that hard). Each set of logo's is $50.00. If you are in need of a whole vinyl replacement package for your Apache please e-mail me at tschaefer26@comcast.net with your make and model. Photo's would be helpful in assessing your vinyl needs also. In some cases they can be cleaned and brought back to vibrant life. In addition to the logo's and stripping I do offer one more vinyl service. I can make a vinyl for a name for your Apache. People with boats and cars have been doing it for years. 1-800-626-5944. I have a 1980 Ramada and needed a new red side marker lens
for the rear. Happened to be in Tampa , FL over the 3 day weekend we just had
and there was a Camping World store down the road. Stopped in and low and
behold, they carry side marker lights that are exact replacements for my Apache
( assuming mine are originals , which I believe they are ) !!! They are listed
as : clearance light , #378 series , red. Part # 34-37-801. The manufacturer is
Bargman products of Tekonsha, MI. Cost was about $3.70 ea. Comes with base, lens
and a bulb. Measurements are ( as positioned vertically on camper ) 2 "
wide x 4" tall x 1" deep and is rectangular in shape.
I popped off my broken lens and popped on the new one. Perfect fit !! Hope this
info is helpful to someone in the never ending quest of finding hard to find

Mesa, Roamer, Royal, Ramada, and Ranger, as well as the "Apache"
side emblem, and a black and silver older Apache emblem that says "Apache,
The Vesely Company." Thanks to Apache lover Cindy Harrington of Texas, I
now have good molds for the Buffalo in script, as well as the 2.5-inch
individual APACHE letters often found on the spare tires cover.
I'm still looking for any other good original emblems that Apache owners are willing to
lend to me so that I can make master molds. If you wish to obtain any of these emblems, I ask for a $6 "donation"
per emblem to help me manage the many costs of plastic casting, mold making and
postage. You can see the emblems I have available below (click to enlarge).
My reproduction emblems do not have mounting pegs and so they should be mounted using automotive trim adhesive. Gary Burch

Gregory's Canvas Products 1404 Imlay City Rd Lapeer MI 48446 Phone: (810) 664-3520 Gregory purchased the original canvas patterns from Apache when they went out of business. I received a few complaints about their replacement canvases in 1999. Two people reported having to send theirs back more than once for adjustments. I believe Apache Sales Corp gets their canvas's from Gregory.
Mattress Replacement Info. For those who own a 1973 Ramada or similar (most all hard-sided Apaches) and are looking for mattresses, I found mine at a mattress place here in Michigan. They measured to be 73" by 48" by 4" and fit as snug as a bug - tight and they did squeeze in very nicely. $70 plus tax. The place was in west side Detroit called Tri County Mattresses on Telegraph between 5 and 6 mile roads. 16706 Telegraph Rd. Window Replacement:
Window plastic sheeting is available from a company called Laird Plastics. They have more than fifty warehouses and have bronze tinted acrylic from .060 up to .080 tinted from light to dark. The cost to replace all the windows in my Cimarron with the thicker .080 dark acrylic was $140.00 including UPS shipping to my home. Another Company to check is A&C Plastics, although they were $41.00 more for the same thickness and tint. - Paul K.
